Pilsen City and Pilsner Urquell Brewery with Zbiroh Castle Day Trip

Let’s explore Plzeň, the birthplace of the world-famous Pilsner beer, and visit the Zbiroh Castle on the way back to Prague. After a short city walk in Plzeň, we’ll visit the Patton Memorial Museum, dedicated to the liberation of the city by the U.S. Army in WWII.

Next, enjoy a guided tour of the Pilsner Urquell Brewery, where you’ll see each step of the brewing process and finish with a beer tasting right in the historic cellars. This is the only group part of the tour—and a very good one!

After lunch in a local brewery restaurant, we’ll head to the Zbiroh Castle, known for its stunning architecture and connection to Alfons Mucha. We’ll enjoy a relaxed visit and take beautiful photos in this fairytale setting before returning to Prague.

As an alternative, we can visit the Rückl Glassworks instead of the castle—just let me know your preference.
