Step into the heart of Saxony and experience Dresden — a city of legends, treasures, and resilience. Once a royal seat of power, Dresden flourished under Augustus II the Strong, the Elector of Saxony and King of Poland, who gathered one of Europe's finest art collections and sponsored the discovery of porcelain, Saxony’s “white gold.”
But history left its scars: in February 1945, Dresden was heavily bombed, almost disappearing overnight. During our tour, we’ll explore both the few surviving historic gems and the magnificently restored city center, bringing to life the powerful stories of its past.
Dresden is a place of beauty, mystery, and fascinating tales — from secret laboratories to the romantic traditions of Saxon mistresses. We'll even honor a local custom: "drinking the eyes" of the Countess of Cosel!
And as a personal bonus, I’ll be happy to take professional-quality photos of you during the tour, helping you capture these unforgettable memories forever.

The schedule below is a suggested itinerary. Times are approximate and can be adjusted based on your preferences.
- 8:00 AM – Pick-up from your hotel in Prague
- 8:00 AM - 10:30 AM – Scenic drive from Prague to Dresden
- 10:30 AM - 1:00 PM – Walking tour of Dresden's Old Town
See Frauenkirche, Zwinger Palace, Semper Opera House, and other highlights - 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM – Lunch break at a local restaurant in Dresden
- 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM – Scenic drive to the Bastei Bridge in Saxon Switzerland National Park
- 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM – Explore the Bastei Bridge and breathtaking rock formations
- 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM – Return trip to Prague
- 6:30 PM – Drop-off at your hotel or another preferred location in Prague
🚗 Transportation
For your convenience, we provide different transportation options depending on your group size. All vehicles are comfortable, air-conditioned, and operated by professional drivers:
- Up to 3 travelers: Volkswagen Business Passat or a similar category car, offering comfort and style.
- 4 to 6 travelers: Spacious minivan, typically a Volkswagen Transporter, Ford Tourneo, or a similar category vehicle.
- Larger groups or business class transportation: Available on request — please inquire for a custom quote.
⏳ Tour Duration
The tour lasts approximately 10 hours. Travel times may vary due to traffic, but we can adjust the schedule to fit your needs—starting earlier or later upon request.
👉 Before you go—here’s what to know:
The tour includes guiding services and personalized assistance to help you enjoy the history and atmosphere of the places you visit. However, please note that entrance tickets are not included and must be purchased separately (discounts are often available for students and seniors).
💬 Other costs to consider: Bring extra for souvenirs, snacks, and personal expenses. A budget of around 500 CZK per person is recommended for meals, coffee breaks, and optional attractions.
🥿 What to bring: Please don’t forget your passport — we are crossing into Germany! Comfortable shoes are recommended, as we’ll be exploring cobblestone streets and scenic viewpoints. And, of course, bring your camera to capture the beauty of Dresden and Saxon Switzerland!
