  • Hotel Pick-Up: Begin your journey with a convenient pick-up from your accommodation. Or if you wish we can meet at the Jewish Quarter ticket office.
  • Maisel Synagogue: Delve into the history of Jews in Bohemia and Moravia.
  • Pinkas Synagogue: Pay tribute at this memorial to Holocaust victims.
  • Old Jewish Cemetery: Wander through one of the oldest Jewish cemeteries in Europe.
  • Old New Synagogue: See the oldest preserved and still working synagogue in Europe
  • Spanish Synagogue: Admire the stunning Moorish Revival architecture.
  • Jewish Town Hall: Observe the unique building with its distinct clock.
  • Franz Kafka's Birthplace: See the house of the renowned Jewish writer.

Throughout the tour, we will stroll through the charming streets of Josefov, uncovering hidden gems and stories that have shaped this historic district, looking for the memorable stones and learning the traditions.

Meeting Point: Usually for this tour I pick you up at your Hotel or we can meet in the city centre under the Astronomical Clock.

Duration: Approximately 3,5 hours. During the high season from April to October there may be more people, I recommend to start early in the morning, at 8:30 or 9 am.

  • Guiding Services: A private, knowledgeable local guide, who has the official tour guide license and the special license of the Jewish Quarter Museum, which allows to guide in the Synagogues.

  • Transportation: Public transportation tickets may be needed in case of hotel pick up.

Additional Information

Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Modest look is appreciated when visiting religious sites. For men kipas will be offered for free when entering the synagogues.

500 CZK per person may be needed for lunch, coffee breaks and some other entrance tickets if you want to see something extra. Comfortable shoes would also be a great addition to your travellers outfit.
